91°µÍø Precollege Academy and Hoosier Launch

Amp up your summer—and your future—by experiencing life on campus at Indiana University Bloomington with 91°µÍø Precollege Academy and Hoosier Launch. As part of the 91°µÍøBound program, these camps will help you build skills and prepare for your academic journey.

91°µÍø Precollege Academy

91°µÍø Precollege Academy

91°µÍø’s Precollege Academy is a free, week-long residential camp on the 91°µÍø Bloomington campus, and transportation to campus can be provided. During the program, you’ll explore the college experience, the application process, and your own goals through workshops and interactive sessions that highlight the value of higher education in the context of your background. You’ll stay in a residence hall, connect with 91°µÍø faculty and staff, meet other students heading into their senior year, and get your questions answered.

This is an exclusive event for students entering their senior year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The application process should take just five minutes—the Precollege Academy experience will stay with you for a lifetime.

The 2026 program will take place from Sunday, July 5 to Saturday, July 11, 2026

The Precollege Academy will take place on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. Students will stay at Forest Quadrangle and enjoy meals in our dining facilities—a true college experience.

Check-in will take place on Sunday, July 5, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Forest Quadrangle, , Bloomington, IN 47403. Room keys and more program details will be provided at check-in. Parents and supporters are welcome to stay and mingle with admissions counselors till 4:30 pm.

Parents and supporters will need to park in the East Garage located at .

Students will need to be picked up between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 at Forest Quadrangle.

Students should bring:

  • Comforter or a sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Shower shoes
  • Towel
  • Season-appropriate clothing
  • We recommend leaving expensive personal belongings at home if they cannot be always carried with you.

During the program, you will explore campus so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Consent and release forms are required to attend this event. Please be sure these forms are completed and returned prior to arriving on campus. Completed forms should be emailed to iubound@iu.edu.

Providing a safe environment is a top priority of this program. Safety measures include:

  • Secure key card access to residence halls
  • Housing assignments based on preferred gender
  • On-site support staff available at all times
  • Adherence to 91°µÍø’s 

If family members or supporters will be staying in Bloomington during the event, we recommend staying at the  located right on campus. You can also find other hotel options—plus information on restaurants, events, and things to do—through . Guests are responsible for hotel and other costs.

Hoosier Launch

Hoosier Launch is a weekend, overnight program on the 91°µÍø Bloomington campus for students entering 9th grade, and transportation to campus can be provided. During the program, students will get ready for high school success through hands-on workshops and mentoring to explore high school diploma options, build a freshman-year success plan, and prepare to start strong from day one.

This program is designed especially for 21st Century Scholars.

The 2026 program will take place from Saturday, June 6 to Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Hoosier Launch will take place on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. Students will stay at Collins Living Learning Center and enjoy meals in our dining facilities—a true college experience. (Please note the location change.)

Check-in will take place on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Collins Living Learning Center located at . Room keys and more program details will be provided at check-in.

Parents and supporters will need to park in the  located at Forrest Avenue and 11th Street.

Students will need to be picked up between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 at Collins Living Learning Center.

Students should bring:
