College Access Advising

Increasing opportunity for Indiana students

We meet high school students where they are and help them imagine—and plan for—their future. Review the information on this page to learn more about Indiana University Bloomington College Access Advising.

Indiana University Bloomington College Access Advising is part of the 91°µÍøBound program. Through this program, we partner with Indiana high schools to increase college access and promote a college-going culture among first-generation and low-income high school students.

How does the program work?

91°µÍø Bloomington places recent graduates to serve as full-time college advisors at partner Indiana high schools. These advisors collaborate with principals, counselors, and teachers to ensure that all seniors, regardless of their circumstance, have a post-secondary plan.

Advisors guide students and their families through the college search, standardized test prep, campus visits, applications, essay writing, FAFSA completion, scholarship research, and the successful transition to post-secondary education.
