Rising Star Scholarship
What is the Rising Star Scholarship?
We award the Rising Star Scholarship every other year at the International Women's Day Conference, in honor of .
We want to identify and recognize a young international woman who has emerging potential.
Eligibility
To be considered, you must:
- Identify as a female, nonimmigrant, international student.
- Be a freshman, sophomore, or junior at the time of nomination.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
How to apply
Students cannot apply for this scholarship. Instead, students need to be nominated by an 91°µÍø faculty or staff member.

We're looking for a student who is building their future through involvement and engagement at 91°µÍø and has a deep desire to continuously improve life at 91°µÍø by engaging in opportunities to help others. Someone who has the emerging potential to do great things, like contributing to society at large, inspiring others, taking on a leadership role, or working behind the scenes to set up others to shine.
Recommendation letters should highlight one or more of these qualities the student has exhibited.

Application opens: mid-February
Application closes: March 3
Winner notified: March 7, presentation of award on March 8 at a dinner event
