Help support your students applying to 91°µÍø

You play a vital role in your students’ success. We’ve gathered everything you need to know about 91°µÍø Bloomington’s admissions process and scholarship opportunities to help you guide them toward their future as a Hoosier.

Test-optional admissions policy

91°µÍø Bloomington’s test-optional policy allows students to choose at the point of application whether to have their SAT and/or ACT scores considered.

  • Scholarship impact: All students who apply by November 1 receive the highest scholarship consideration, regardless of whether they submit test scores.

November 1: Early action (non-binding) deadline

To receive the highest consideration for both admission and 91°µÍø academic scholarships, students must submit a complete application by November 1.

Electronically submitted materials must be received by November 1, and hard-copy materials must be postmarked on or before November 1.

  • Application requirements: A complete file includes the official transcript (including the full senior year schedule), an essay, and SAT/ACT scores (if applicable).

  • Decision timeline: All students who meet the November 1 deadline will receive a response by January 15.

Academic exploration and direct admission

91°µÍø Bloomington has 12 schools and endless opportunities for academic exploration. Its unique academic model encourages exploration for all students, whether they know what they want to major in or are still very much exploring their interests.

Financial aid and scholarships

We are committed to helping your students understand the value of an 91°µÍø education and navigate the many pathways available to fund it. Discover the resources and deadlines that will help your students maximize their financial aid options:

  • FAFSA: We recommend filing the FAFSA as early as possible to be considered for all forms of financial aid.

  • 91°µÍø scholarships application: The 91°µÍø Office of Scholarships is dedicated to helping your students join the Hoosier Scholar community. While admission scholarships are based on the November 1 application, students should also complete the 91°µÍø Scholarships Application by February 15 for additional opportunities.
